Minneapolis Immigrant Resources

ICE raids have imposed a tremendous hardship on immigrant communities in Minneapolis. Here are a couple organization that are helping:

Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) is a nonprofit organization that provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and North Dakota. ILCM provides services based on our capacity. ILCM has a generally high demand for services. Unfortunately, we may not always be able to assist someone. If we cannot assist you, we will refer you to another trusted organization or immigration attorney.

Community Support & Mutual Aid

Community Aid Network MN Community Aid Network (CANMN) is a grassroots volunteer-led organization located in the Bancroft neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. We work to build solidarity with our neighbors, organize volunteers and redistribute resources to ensure everyone has the means for dignified survival.

Help Bancroft Families! Neighborhood fundraiser for support with groceries and other necessities.

Advocacy & Organizing

MIRAC MIRAC is an all-volunteer, grassroots, multiracial, and multinational immigrant rights mass-movement organization. MIRAC fights for legalization for all, an end to immigration raids and deportations, an end to all anti-immigrant laws, and full equality in all areas of life.

Unidos MN Unidos MN is a grassroots organization that builds power with Minnesota's working families to advance social, racial, and economic justice for all. Born from the strength of the DREAMER movement, we place immigration, education, and climate justice at the heart of our work. As an intersectional and intergenerational organization led by women and multiracial communities, we unite people from all backgrounds to fight for a future where everyone can thrive—no exceptions.

Financial Support

Immigrant Rapid Response Fund Through the Women's Foundation of Minnesota, the Immigrant Rapid Response Network is raising funds to address urgent and immediate needs for immigrant communities targeted by ICE and CBP. Donations will provide for basic needs (rental assistance, food, and healthcare), and legal services (legal defense, due process support, and constituational rights protection).

Second Harvest Heartland Minnesota's largest regional food bank. $1 = 3 meals.

The Bond Between Local pet-related charity that accepts donations in support of their pet food shelf and temporary shelter/foster for families impacted by ICE occupation.

Stand with Minnesota If you are interested in finding smaller, targeted funds such as personal GoFundMes for families or local neighborhood-level funds, Stand with Minnesota serves a clearinghouse for these efforts.
